Rebranding Project
Eggettes Boba Shop
Problem Statement
Eggettes is a local milk tea shop located in the Sunset District of San Francisco. Their establishment has served delicious egg waffle treats to local students and young adults for over 10 years. With all the support and success they’ve received over the years, only one thing remained unchanged. The visual identity of the establishment is outdated and could be improved vastly upon. For this project, I propose to overhaul the current graphic identity of this establishment for future marketing/franchise purposes.

Research & Ideation Phase
Moodboards
The initial idea of my design inspiration comes from popular Boba/Dessert Shops all around the world. I wanted to create a design that reflects the roundness and shape of the product which are egg-waffles & tapioca pearls. I experimented with couple different type-faces ranging from handwritten to sans serif fonts.

The Idea
Eggettes original design was centered around an egg themed character giving a thumbs up. I wanted to build upon this design by creating my own character that better depicts the product they are selling while still retaining that fun friendly design from the original design.

Final Design
This is the final design of Eggettes, redesigned logo with color and a few mock ups to depict how the design would like in real life. I’ve redesigned the logo with alternative designs for cups and a new menu design for easier reading and better flow of direction.
