A Night to Remember.
EPACENTER held its first ever Formal Gala Event on June 1st, 2024. A Grammy Award-Winning Composer, Mason Bates & Mercury Soul took the lead in entertaining the guests and showcasing all that our organization does for the community. This was a benefits event to support EPACENTER for funding of existing and new programs in the future.
Graphic Design Team
Our team was tasked with creating motion graphics for the event. This project was everyone’s favorite because of the aesthetic and creative freedom we had to showcase our work. The most fun thing about this project was that we brought all of our designs together to create this amazing graphic that could be looped. We used all of the Adobe Suite to create each of our piece. All of our posters were also displayed in the Upper Level of the lobby for donors and contributors to see.
Revamping The Logo
My piece for the motion graphic was quite simple. I wanted to reimagine the logo with different objects to symbolize the letter. Instead of the simple letters A & T, I made custom shapes representing an easel & paintbrush and experimented on a black canvas. I would then keep a colorful color scheme and have the logo blink in like a light and flicker into neon colors at the end it would fade away in color and transition to the next person’s work.
