Logo Branding/Business Card Inquiry
Tan-Man Auto Care
Initial Ideation
For this logo, I wanted to base the design off a very popular rim style called the TE-37 by VOLK RACING WHEELS | RAYS ENIGEERING.

Typographic Inspiration
The client requested that his business name have some connection with his nickname which primarily includes his last name. The client also requested that the TypeFace would be inspired by the VOLK Racing Wheel Font. This type of font does not exist so I custom created the font & lettering in the style of the wheel company.
Multiple Iterations
Working with one of my closest friends, I had created multiple iterations of my vision for the logo. The idea is to build a logo around the TE-37 since it is such an iconic rim style in the car community. Through my experience attending car shows, I had noticed that some modified showroom vehicles had a wheel display underneath their tires. From there I would have the addition of the wheel display shape encapsulating the title of the business. In the finer details, I would add brakes & brake calipers to solidify the look of the wheel.

Final Design
In this final version of the logo, I enlarged the brakes, refined the sparkles with a soft gradient, and adjusted the sizing of the display for the text. Then we needed an alternative version of the logo which resembled a vintage 90s japanese signage.

Business Cards
The client also requested business cards to go with his design. I wanted to include lots of texture for his business cards so I incorporated the textures/patterns such as carbon fiber, cream coloring, bubbles & spray bottles. The background pattern is very subtle and was set at a low opacity to still be able to see.
